About Happy Place Reflexology

ABOUT YOUR REFLEXOLOGIST

Hi, my name’s Alexandra. I’m a qualified reflexologist and founder of Happy Place Reflexology. My vision is to support your wellness and happiness through reflexology. I’ve had a passion for reflexology for many years. I had my first treatment 12 years ago when I was looking for something calming to help me de-stress. I loved every treatment and I soon discovered that reflexology helped me to feel happier, relaxed, and mindful.

Since then, I’ve had a treatment regularly to support my wellness and happiness alongside other healthy lifestyle choices. Over the years I became more interested in the reflexology and always said, “I’d love to be a reflexologist.” I wanted to share my love for reflexology so other people can experience the incredible benefits of this relaxing treatment.

Finally, the time was right in 2019 to start my training at the London School of Reflexology. Shortly after starting, I took the plunge to leave my full-time career and swap the early morning commutes into London for something more relaxing! In June 2020, I proudly qualified as a reflexologist and set up my small business.

I offer reflexology treatments near Tiverton in Devon in a relaxing treatment room. When I’m not giving reflexology treatments, I enjoy Yoga, Pilates, cardio workouts, walking, reading and spending time with my husband, family and friends.

Please get in touch if you’d like to find out more about how reflexology could help you feel healthier and happier.

Thank you for considering reflexology with me.

Ready to book?

If you feel you could benefit from reflexology, please get in touch to book an appointment.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT YOUR REFLEXOLOGY TREATMENT?

Once we’re ready to start the treatment, you’ll take off your shoes and socks and recline on a massage couch (if you’re pregnant you’ll remain in an upright position). Pillows and bolsters will be provided to make you comfortable. It’s likely you’ll get the most out of the treatment if you close your eyes and relax – most clients fall asleep!

Treatments start with a foot cleanse using gentle biodegradable wipes. We use reflexology wax to begin a soothing foot massage to relax your feet.

Then, the reflexology sequence is carried out on one foot at a time using a thumb and finger walking technique. The foot not being worked on will be wrapped in a bamboo muslin square to keep it warm and cosy. The treatment ends with a relaxing massage on both feet.

Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to talk about any reflexes that seemed out of balance. After-care advice will be given if appropriate.

Reflexology treatments are 60 minutes.
